From Maximuscle to Multimap, LoveFilm, Insure & Go and last year’s overall winner, King of Shaves, the Fast Growth Business Awards (FGBA), now in their fourth successful year, have a track record of identifying businesses on the cusp of the big time (or a big exit). The quality of the companies entering last year’s awards was as high as ever and we’re confident that this year will be the best FGBA yet, as businesses and entrepreneurs demonstrate the quality required to deliver growth in a downturn as well as the innovation to take advantage of the much anticipated upturn.
The FGBA are run in conjunction with Growing Business magazine, and we’ll be making a bigger splash with our coverage for the 2010 scheme than ever before. If you’ve got an inspiring growth story, it will almost certainly make for an excellent read, and more importantly, send the message that entrepreneurs are still making their mark on the UK economy.
We’ll be looking for companies with a rock solid business model as well as a management team capable of showing resilience and commitment. Those of you who fit this description should definitely enter one or more of the categories; not only is the ceremony itself a well-deserved chance to celebrate your success, you’ll also get a considerable PR and morale boost if you’re nominated or lucky enough to win. We look forward to receiving your entry. |
