The Asset Based Finance Association (ABFA), formerly known as the FDA, is a UK based trade association representing an industry with over forty years experience of supplying much needed liquidity to UK businesses. Our Members provide factoring, invoice discounting and asset based lending. The ABFA’s Membership is comprised of 43 Full Members and 11 Group Members.
In the UK and Ireland alone, Members provided over £15 billion to over 48,000 businesses in the first three quarters of 2007. The industry’s clients serve primarily the manufacturing, distribution, transport and service sectors, and transact over £173 billion of clients' invoices each year.
